Dr. Lodewyk is a general practitioner who has worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families for over 16 years. She utilizes a variety of treatment approaches to treat depressive and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and eating disorders. She is trained in EMDR, a specialized treatment for people with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or other trauma-related symptoms. Dr. Lodewyk has used this technique for over 12 years in her practice to help people work through problemmatic issues related to experiencing trauma. She also works with people who desire to work through spiritual issues in treatment and is trained in using healing prayer in therapy.
Dr. Lodewyk administrates the Cogmed Working Memory Training program at Heritage Professional Associates. She helps individuals and families determine if someone is a good candidate for this training, and she oversees all trainings provided through Heritage.
