Ms. Kalkreuth is a doctoral student in clinical psychology. She has experience and enjoys working with clients who suffer from (or are coping with) mood and anxiety disorders, family difficulties, grief/loss, and trauma. In particular, Ms. Kalkreuth is interested in the role of the body in the treatment of trauma. She has completed level I training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a model of psychotherapy specifically designed to work with the physiological, emotional and cognitive impact of various types of traumatic experiences. The approach she employs is collaborative in nature, assisting clients in their individual processes of growth towards more empowered, holistic living. Ms. Kalkreuth also has experience with psychological testing in the areas of personality concerns, AD/HD, mood and anxiety disorders.
