Dr. River is a clinical social worker. His practice includes assessment and therapy for children and adolescents. He also works with adults, couples, and families with general mental health issues as well as those who are coping with divorce, trauma, and loss. A former college adviser and school Social Worker, he assists clients with difficulties in school and with college and career planning. He has a special interest in working with individuals who are coping with serious illness in a family member.
