About Our Alcoholism Counseling
Treatment of alcoholism by one of our Heritage clinicians invloves taking a thorough history, assessing for level of severity and recommending the appropriate level of care. Frequently, partipation in a 12 step program, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is recommended as a supplement to the therapy for addictions. Learning the ‘triggers’ for addictive behavior and learning an different response is an important ingredient to this therapeutic work.
