Debra
A. Carioti

Illinois School of Professional Psychology Director of Training
Dr. Carioti provides individual and couples
psychotherapy to persons in the developmental stages
from adolescence through older age. Working to bring
about positive change, she addresses depression and
anxiety, trauma, and grief reactions, and is effective
in helping people move through life transitions and
relational challenges. Dr. Carioti is experienced in
addressing women’s issues including postpartum,
menopausal, and midlife concerns. She has a Master’s
Degree in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University,
Chicago, and is trained in EMDR. In her role as
Director of Clinical Training at Heritage, she
provides clinical supervision to students preparing to
be mental health professionals.

Stephanie Dennison

Ms. Dennison has had an interest in teaching since an early age. Her passion is children and seeing them become excited about learning. She has taught second grade at a classical Christian school in North Carolina and taught fifth grade for three years at Timothy Christian School in Elmhurst, Illinois. She has extensive experience tutoring grade school children in all academic subjects and started her own tutoring program for children entering grades first through third, concentrating primarily on phonics and reading. In addition to being a Cogmed working memory training Coach, Stephanie cares for her two children and is involved with various teaching ministries in her church. (back to index) |

provided Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) services since

In addition to providing DBT therapy he also lectures
at the School of Social Services Administration at the
University of Chicago, conducts training workshops and
