About Dr. Jonathan Perle
Dr. Jonathan Perle is a board certified clinical child and adolescent psychologist who provides behavioral and cognitive-behavioral individual and family therapies. Dr. Perle’s approach not only involves the child, but consideration of how parents/caregivers, schools, and other professionals may play into the child’s challenges and improvement.
Through his training that included the Nebraska Medical Center and Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine, as well as service for several years as a staff psychologist at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Dr. Perle has developed expertise in helping children, adolescents, and their families with mental health challenges. While Dr. Perle has significant experience working with a wide range of both common and rare child/pediatric mental health concerns, through extensive specialized training, work, and research endeavors, he has developed a specialization in the assessment and treatment of both childhood Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and disruptive behavior disorders (e.g., Oppositional Defiant Disorder; ODD).
Dr. Perle has over 12 years of prior experience within the field of psychology that has included providing direct treatments and assessments, co-running ADHD and disruptive behavior-focused clinics at major universities/hospitals, co-running general psychology clinics in primary care medical offices, conducting and publishing research on child-related mental health issues, providing local and national presentations and trainings, consulting with other providers (e.g., medical, psychological, school), and training the future generation of psychologists, psychiatrists, and physicians.
