About Maddie Carlson

Maddie Carlson is a Masters Level Intern completing her clinical training through partnerships with Dr Sarah Rogers at Heritage Professional Associates and Wheaton College.  Maddie brings to her work a genuine passion for working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She uses an empathic and client-centered approach to support clients as they pursue healing, growth, and wellness within the therapeutic space. Maddie brings expertise in many areas including the evidence-based treatment of anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and adjustment concerns across the life span. Her work is personalized to each individual and can include making sense of life stories, resolving concerns related to spirituality and faith, building internal resources of resilience, self esteem or social confidence, and increasing academic or social functioning in the school years.
