An ideal candidate would be able to provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults and/or do psychological testing. Serious consideration will be given to candidates who have a clinical niche (children, couples, trauma, DBT/ACT, EMDR, assessment, etc.) and are willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and professional standing in the community. Heritage has a strong diagnostic center and would be very open to inquiries from Highly skilled testing psychologists.

· Current State of Illinois license/eligible as a PhD, PsyD, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT
· Willing to work 15 clinical hours per week or more
· Demonstrated interest in one or more of the specialty areas mentioned above
· Prior private practice experience is a plus

Psychometrists/Psychometricians
If you are a doctoral student seeking high quality supervised testing experiences and to be paid for this work, we encourage you to apply for a position with our Heritage Diagnostic and Assessment Center team! Under guidance by a licensed psychologist, the Psychometrist or Psychometrician provides neuropsychological assessment for pediatric, young adult and adult clientele. These positions are compensated at $25-35/hr, depending on their role.

· Administers and scores paper and pencil and computer based neuropsychological and psychological tests under the direction of a licensed clinical psychologist.
· Test batteries include assessment of psychological, personality functioning and neuropsychological abilities (learning, memory, intelligence, attention and concentration, executive functioning, language, visual/spatial abilities, sensorimotor).
· Responsible for obtaining accurate and reliable results, recording behavioral observations and data into an electronic medical record and maintaining a standardized and valid testing environment.
· Maintains good communication with their licensed psychologist supervisor through all aspects of the testing process and adheres to documentation requirements.
· Completes other duties under the direction of the Director of the Heritage Diagnostic and Assessment Center.
· The Psychometrician role also includes opportunities to assist with the conceptualization and writing of the case in collaboration with, and under the supervision of, their licensed psychologist supervisor.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in the following fields: Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education or related field; Either enrolled in doctoral program in psychology and have completed requisite assessment coursework or is certified in Psychometry (CSP).
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Clinical Psychology; Experience in Neuropsychology, Psychology or Psychoeducational Assessment; An advanced understanding of the administration and scoring of neuropsychological/psychological assessment measures; good organizational skills.
Psychometricians would be hired as an employee (not independent contractor). Schedule is flexible; Saturday or Sunday hours are available.
