About Josh Magold

Josh Magold is a Doctoral Therapy Extern that has a passion for helping others through their journey working through mental health related concerns. He has experience working with children, teenagers, and adults, specifically struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma related disorders and symptomology. Josh’s clinical interests revolve around childhood trauma, panic disorder, and the management of different types of anxieties such as social anxiety or phobias. He has previous experience providing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, and integrated different aspects of Play Therapy with children in a school setting. Josh uses humor, direct communication, and calming music in session to harbor an open and comfortable environment to exist in and grow. Josh aims to provide coping skills, community resources, and various therapeutic tools for their clients to provide room for growth, progress, and peace. Josh is currently completing his doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Adler University, Chicago.
