Sophie Hutchison is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Sophie brings experience working with clients across the life span, with a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents. She integrates cognitive-behavioral and client-centered approaches, often incorporating creative modalities such as art and play therapy to engage younger clients in meaningful ways. Sophie values the role of the entire family system in a child’s emotional well-being and works collaboratively with families to promote growth and healing. She is committed to utilizing the latest research and evidence-based practices in her work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, interpersonal and social skill challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-esteem or body image concerns.
In her free time, Sophie enjoys drawing and painting, photography, spending time in nature, and reading. In the future, she aspires to develop a specialized expertise in Child-Centered Play Therapy and Art Therapy.
