Rooted Resilience - A Support Group for Adults with Complex Trauma

Enrollment: OPEN (reach out today!)

Introducing "Rooted Resilience" - a trauma-informed DBT and somatic group for adults. This group offers a unique integration of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and somatic techniques, specifically designed for adults who have experienced trauma. Our approach prioritizes safety, connection, and empowerment, fostering an environment where individuals can explore new ways of living and healing. DBT skills, such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation, will be taught and practiced within a trauma-informed framework, acknowledging the impact of trauma on participants' lives. Simultaneously, somatic techniques will help individuals develop body awareness, release pent-up tension, and enhance their sense of grounding and control. Through experiential exercises, guided meditations, and creative expression, participants will:

* Develop a greater sense of self-awareness and self-compassion

* Enhance resilience and coping skills

* Improve emotional regulation and tolerance for difficult emotions

* Cultivate a stronger connection between mind, body, and spirit

Our group will be facilitated by trained mental health professionals with expertise in trauma, DBT, and somatic techniques. We recognize the importance of meeting participants where they are, honoring their unique experiences, and promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect. Join us in empowering individuals on their journey towards healing, wholeness, and embodied resilience.

With mentalization, you can start to understand why you feel the way you do, and make positive changes to build stronger, healthier connections with others. It's like learning a new language that helps you communicate better with yourself and others, and can help heal those attachment wounds.
