About Cassidy Larson
Cassidy is a second-year student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Wheaton College and is honored to be beginning her clinical journey at Heritage. After pursuing her dream of becoming a counselor for the past ten years, she is grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue meaningful growth. Cassidy strives to create a warm, welcoming, and authentic therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes that each person has a unique story and seeks to meet clients where they are while empowering them to move toward the life they desire. Her counseling approach is primarily person-centered and incorporates principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS), recognizing the many parts that contribute to each individual’s experiences, strengths, and resilience. She is committed to tailoring the counseling process to the unique needs and goals of every client. Outside of the counseling room, Cassidy enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dog, taking long walks, working out at the gym, reading a good book, and attempting new embroidery projects while listening to audiobooks.
