Heather is currently completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Roosevelt University and is being supervised by Dr. Sandy Kruse on the Testing Team through the Heritage Diagnostic and Assessment Center.

About Heather Cardenas

Heather is a Doctoral Diagnostic Extern who specializes in the evaluation of individuals across the lifespan. Her clinical interests include working with children and adolescents, neurodevelopmental disorders, and trauma-informed assessment. She has experience conducting clinical interviews, providing individual therapy to clients across the lifespan, and delivering specialized ADHD support through her work as an ADHD coach. 

Heather takes a strengths-based approach and is committed to providing personalized, culturally responsive care through comprehensive diagnostic testing and psychoeducation. She strives to create a warm and supportive environment, guiding clients through the evaluation process with empathy, collaboration, and a focus on helping them better understand their unique strengths and challenges.

In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends, spending time in nature, and listening to music.
